Account Deletion
How to delete your account and what happens to your data.
You can permanently delete your greatgeardeals account and all associated personal data at any time, directly from the app — you don't need to contact us.
Summary: Deleting your account permanently and irreversibly removes your account and all of your personal data.
How to delete your account
In the mobile app
- Open the greatgeardeals app and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- In the Account section, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account is deleted and you're signed out.
On the web
- Sign in at greatgeardeals.com.
- Open Settings.
- Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account and confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile.
- Your price alerts, lists, and saved items.
- Your notification settings and account preferences.
- Your sign-in identity (Google, Sign in with Apple, or email). For Sign in with Apple, your Apple token is revoked.
When it takes effect
Deletion is immediate. Your account and personal data are removed right away; the erasure of your sign-in identity (and Apple token revocation, if applicable) completes shortly afterward. This action can't be undone.
