About this product
The Sawyer Squeeze Water Filtration System paired with a Cnoc Premium 2-liter bladder offers a versatile, lightweight solution for backpacking water treatment, weighing under 6 ounces complete. The core filter uses a 0.1 micron absolute hollow-fiber membrane constructed from polypropylene and polyethylene, removing 99.99999% of bacteria including E. coli, Salmonella, and cholera, as well as 99.9999% of protozoa such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium, and 100% of microplastics. The filter is rated for up to 100,000 gallons of use and is field cleanable via the included cleaning coupling and plunger. Thicker fiber walls make the membrane more durable and capable of more rigorous backwashing than comparable hollow-fiber designs. Every unit is tested three times during manufacturing. The 64 fl. oz. Cnoc bladder is made from extra-durable, BPA-free, FDA-approved TPU with a wide-mouth opening for quick filling. The system functions as either a squeeze filter or a gravity filter, measuring 19 x 6.5 x 2 inches packaged.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise this combo as a best-in-class backpacking water system, calling the Sawyer Squeeze the most reliable and long-lasting filter in its category. The CNOC 2L bladder earns particular acclaim for its dual-opening design: the wide mouth makes scooping from shallow sources fast and easy, a major upgrade over the original Sawyer foil pouches that were prone to pinhole leaks. The durable TPU construction, sub-6-ounce total weight, and versatility as both a squeeze and gravity filter are frequently highlighted. The most common complaints are that the bladder can impart a plastic taste to water initially, and that the Sawyer filter demands consistent maintenance, including backwashing during trips and wet storage between uses, or it risks degrading in performance. Buying the bundle offers no discount over purchasing the items separately.
