Its shell is constructed from 15-denier 100% nylon 66 ripstop, a material whose origins trace to military parachute design, striking a balance between durability and low weight. At a claimed 10.2 oz, the jacket sits comfortably in the ultralight category without sacrificing function. PrimaLoft Black Series Eco Fill insulation at 80gsm provides reliable warmth even in damp conditions, offering down-like loft with better wet-weather performance. A C0 DWR coating repels light moisture without fluorocarbon-based chemicals. The regular fit cuts to hip length and layers cleanly under a shell. Storage includes a covert zip chest pocket and two zippered hand pockets, and the jacket packs into its own pocket, which can also serve as a travel pillow. An adjustable hem helps seal out drafts.
