The Houdini RollerCoaster Pants are a women's 3-layer waterproof-breathable hardshell built for backcountry skiing, snow and ice climbing, and winter expedition camping. The face fabric is a Durable Loop Hardshell ripstop polyester with 70% recycled content, bonded to Houdini's Atmos membrane, which delivers a fabric waterproof rating of 20,000mm and an active breathability rating of 20,000g per square metre per 24 hours. Fully taped seams and a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish reinforce weather protection, while waterproof zippers add another layer of defence. Three-quarter-length leg zips with storm flaps provide ventilation when output is high. Practical details include two side zippered thigh pockets positioned for harness compatibility, one internal zippered pocket, integrated gaiters that layer over boots, Schoeller-reinforced kick patches for edge protection, and included suspenders. Packed weight is 574g, and the pants are made in Estonia. The product carries Bluesign certification and contains recycled materials, and Houdini accepts worn-out garments back for recycling.
