About this product
The Mammut Tour 30 Airbag 3.0 Backpack is a women's-specific avalanche pack built around a 30-liter capacity and a packed weight of 2,410 g. At its core is the removable Airbag System 3.0, a light and compact transferable unit featuring a height-adjustable deployment handle and a high-visibility orange airbag balloon. The back length measures 43.5 cm and the pack is shaped to suit women's proportions for a comfortable, secure fit on serious backcountry objectives. A thermoformed back panel and aluminum U-Frame support both the structure and ski carry functionality, while a dedicated snowboard carry option adds versatility. A zippered hip belt pocket keeps small essentials accessible, and the pack is hydration compatible (reservoir not included). The two-year warranty reflects Mammut's confidence in the construction. This set includes the airbag system, making it a ready-to-deploy option for skiers and riders heading into avalanche terrain.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Mammut Tour 30 Airbag 3.0 for its women's-specific fit, highlighting the shorter back panel, hip belt shaped for female anatomy, and slim-fitting 3D-molded back padding as genuine improvements over unisex airbag packs. The reliable, lightweight Airbag System 3.0, robust zippers, convenient side zipper for quick access, integrated helmet holder, and versatile ski and snowboard carry options are frequently called out as standout features. The pack's PFC-free recycled construction is also noted positively. The most common criticism is limited internal volume for multi-day use, and some users flag that the avalanche gear pocket sits inside the main compartment, requiring two separate unzips to reach a probe or shovel, which could be problematic in a rescue situation.
