About this product
The Mountain Hardwear Storm Whisperer Insulated Jacket is a women's ultralight down jacket built for wet, cold conditions across a range of activities including backpacking, alpine climbing, hiking, and travel. Inspired by the Ghost Whisperer series, it pairs 800-fill RDS-certified down insulation with a Pertex Shield 20D Ripstop 2-layer shell made from 100% recycled nylon, offering genuine waterproof protection alongside high breathability. The Whisperer 10Dx10D Ripstop lining keeps weight minimal, and the jacket compresses easily for stashing in a pack. A standard fit accommodates base and mid-layers without restricting movement, and the center back length measures 28 inches (71.1 cm). Practical details include a fully insulated adjustable hood with rear cinch, a water-resistant two-way center front zipper, underarm zip vents, stretch-knit cuffs, an elastic bound hem, two zippered hand pockets, an interior zippered pocket, and an interior stretch mesh drop pocket. The down is certified by Control Union (license CU 848416).
