About this product
The Quechua MH 500 Fresh & Black is a 2-person rooftop tent designed to deliver genuine comfort during warm-weather camping. Its Fresh & Black technology blocks out light and helps maintain a cooler interior temperature even in the height of summer, making it well suited for campers who value restful sleep in bright or hot conditions. The tent features a generous living space and accommodates a thick mattress for added sleeping comfort. Seams are fully sealed, providing a rain protection rating of 4, so the shelter holds up reliably against wet weather. Available in green, this tent carries SKU 8753769 and is built for two occupants. The combination of thermal and light-blocking performance, solid weather resistance, and a spacious interior makes the MH 500 Fresh & Black a practical choice for summer rooftop camping adventures.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Quechua MH500 Fresh and Black for its outstanding value for money among rooftop tents, its genuinely fast setup (under five minutes once the cover is removed), and the spacious interior with a comfortable integrated foam mattress. The Fresh and Black fabric, which blocks 99% of daylight and reduces interior heat, is repeatedly highlighted as a standout feature for summer camping. The high-quality telescopic ladder and durable, waterproof materials also earn frequent compliments. The most common criticisms center on weather sealing: in windy or rainy conditions, window Velcro tabs can come undone and allow water ingress through the windows and zippers. Reviewers also note the tent is best suited to three-season, casual use rather than harsh conditions, and some flag that spare parts can be difficult to source over time. Initial mounting on roof bars can be tricky and ideally requires two people.
