About this product
The RockShox ZEB Select Charger RC is a 29-inch suspension fork built for enduro, freeride, and trail riding on demanding terrain. It offers selectable travel of 160mm, 170mm, 180mm, or 190mm, giving riders flexibility for a range of aggressive tracks. The Charger RC damper provides low-speed compression and rebound adjustment without a lockout, keeping the setup straightforward for rough, high-speed use. A DebonAir+ air spring is positioned higher in the travel to improve control on steep descents. The 38mm Fast-Black aluminum stanchions deliver substantial rigidity through corners and technical sections, while the forged hollow aluminum crown and magnesium lowers help manage overall weight (claimed 4lb 15oz at 170mm with 44mm offset). The 15x110mm Boost axle with bolt-in torque cap simplifies hub end cap compatibility, and the 44mm rake, 1-1/8 to 1-1/2 inch tapered steerer, and 200mm post-mount disc brake interface round out a well-specified package. A RockShox bolt-on fender is compatible but sold separately. Backed by a two-year manufacturer warranty.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the RockShox ZEB Select Charger RC 29 Boost fork for its impressive chassis stiffness and smooth stroke, noting that the robust 38mm stanchions deliver confidence on steep and aggressive terrain. The DebonAir air spring earns particular appreciation for its supple small-bump sensitivity and tunable progression via volume spacers. Setup is widely described as simple and straightforward, and the fork's broad compatibility with large rotors, wide tires, and multiple travel options adds to its appeal. The most common criticism centers on the Charger RC damper, which reviewers find adequate for moderate riding but noticeably overwhelmed under sustained hard efforts, leading many to suggest the ZEB Ultimate is a more cost-effective choice for aggressive riders. The fork also lacks the increased bushing overlap of the Ultimate, and Pressure Release Valves must be purchased separately.
