The Simms Prodry Jacket is a fully seam-sealed, hip-length rain shell built around a GORE-TEX Pro 3-layer construction with a face fabric of 80D 100% recycled nylon. That heavier 80D weave covers high-wear zones for long-term abrasion resistance, while lighter 70D panels in key areas allow the unrestricted range of motion that casting demands. The regular fit accommodates insulating layers underneath, aided by articulated sleeves designed with cold-weather layering in mind. A 3-way adjustable hood preserves peripheral vision in heavy rain, and single-hand adjustable cuffs create a reliable seal at the wrist. Five zippered pockets (two hand, two chest, one internal chest) handle storage, and the hand pockets are brushed tricot-lined for warmth. Suited to fishing, hiking, and everyday wear, the jacket carries a limited manufacturer warranty and is made with recycled and repurposed materials, reflecting Simms' responsible collection standards.
