The Smith Triad MIPS is a low-profile cycling helmet designed for road and gravel riding, built with a polycarbonate shell and molded-in construction over an EPS foam interior. It weighs just 290g and is available in four sizes ranging from 51cm to 65cm in circumference. Safety is addressed through a combination of Koroyd sections, which absorb more impact than traditional EPS alone, and MIPS technology, which reduces rotational forces during oblique impacts via an inner shell positioned between the foam and padding. An internal skeletal structure adds a further layer of impact resistance. Ventilation comes from 19 vents paired with an AirEvac system that draws warm air away from sunglasses to reduce fogging. The VaporFit dial system provides 270-degree adjustability for a precise fit, while the Ionic+ antimicrobial lining manages moisture and odor over time. The helmet meets CPSC and EN 1078 safety ratings and includes a protective helmet bag.
