About this product

The Stio Figment Jacket is a men's hip-length shell jacket built for serious mountain use, constructed from a 3-layer recycled polyester with Stio's PeakProof hydrophilic membrane rated at 20,000mm waterproofing and 20,000mm breathability. Seams are fully taped throughout, providing reliable protection against wet conditions. The relaxed, easy-going fit accommodates layering, and a fixed, helmet-compatible hood adds versatility for resort and backcountry days alike. A powder skirt is included to seal out snow during active descents. Pocket organization is thorough, covering zippered handwarmer and chest pockets, interior security and stash pockets, and a dedicated RFID pocket. The jacket carries no insulation, making it a true shell intended for use over mid-layers. Construction uses recycled polyester throughout, reflecting a commitment to lower-impact materials. A limited lifetime warranty backs the build quality. Available in Stormy Weather/Windchill colorway in size Small, with a Canadian retail price of $334.99.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Stio Figment Jacket for its exceptional build quality, durable PeakProof recycled fabric, and relaxed freeride fit that delivers excellent freedom of movement for skiing and snowboarding. The well-placed pockets, smooth YKK zippers, helmet-compatible hood, fleece-lined collar, and two-way underarm venting are frequently highlighted as thoughtful, skier-focused features. The longer cut and generous coverage are seen as ideal for big mountain days. The most common criticisms are that the hood is noticeably stiff and oversized when not worn over a helmet, and that the large cuffs can make it difficult to pull glove gauntlets over the sleeve. Reviewers also consistently flag that the jacket runs large, and most recommend sizing down at least one size.
