The Swix Focus Wind Jacket is a hip-length, 3-layer softshell designed specifically for cross-country skiing. Its primary shell is 100% polyester, while elastic panels made from 88% polyester and 12% elastane add stretch and a brushed interior for warmth, allowing a full range of motion during fast-paced efforts. The construction is water-resistant and fully seam-sealed, earning solid marks for both rain protection and breathability (each rated 4 out of 5). A chin guard with storm placket reduces collar rub and blocks drafts, and a ventilation tab lets you manage heat output during intervals. Storage is handled by a zippered external chest pocket for small essentials and a zippered back pocket sized for fuel or gloves. YKK zippers run throughout, and elastic-bound cuffs and hem help seal out cold air on exposed sections. The jacket is available in Bright White Black and is sized from X-Small upward.
