About this product

The Backcountry Access Stash Pro 35L is a dedicated backcountry skiing and snowboarding pack built from PU coated 420d ripstop nylon and 210d double ripstop nylon, with a 200D PE ripstop lining and YKK zippers treated with a DWR coating for weather resistance. It comes in two sizes: S/M, which fits torsos from 15 to 18 inches and holds 30 liters (1831 cubic inches) at 2.55 lb, and M/L, which accommodates 17 to 21 inch torsos with a 32-liter (1953 cubic inch) capacity at 2.59 lb. A molded "Cooling Fin" back panel with a wire support frame and load lifters keeps the pack stable and ventilated on the skin track. Gear organization is thorough, with a dedicated shovel and probe compartment, dual zippered shoulder straps, hip belt pockets, a fleece-lined goggle sleeve, and hydration compatibility. Carry options cover A-frame, diagonal ski, and vertical snowboard configurations, plus external ice axe loops and multiple snowshoe mounting points. The pack is also BC Link Radio compatible and features back panel access, removable helmet carry, compression straps, and moisture drain holes.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the BCA Stash Pro 35L for its thoughtful, backcountry-specific organization, particularly the dedicated avalanche tool pocket for fast shovel and probe access, the convenient side stash pocket that lets users grab items without removing the pack, and the multiple ski and snowboard carry options. Durability and build quality earn repeated compliments, with users noting the pack holds up well over many seasons of hard use. The most common criticism is that the fit can feel somewhat boxy or stiff on some body types, and a few reviewers note the shoulder straps sit closer together at the neck than competing packs, which may bother broader-shouldered users.
