The shortened 12-inch DAC Featherlite NSL Shortstik poleset is sized to fit handlebars, panniers, or saddlebags without overhang. The double-wall construction uses a nylon ripstop, silicone and PU (1200mm) fly and floor paired with a nylon ripstop and polyester mesh body, with all seams fully sealed for reliable rain protection. The single door opens onto a 9 sq ft awning-style vestibule that provides a dry zone for changing and gear storage. Inside, 20 sq ft of floor space (88 x 38 to 28 in tapered) and 38 in of interior height offer generous room for a solo sleeper. A 3D interior shelf uses dead space above the feet, while exterior daisy chain loops on the fly allow wet kit to dry overnight. The TipLok buckle combines pole capture, fly attachment, and tensioning in one step, and a fast-pitch option brings trail weight down to 1 lb 15 oz. A footprint and gear loft are sold separately.
