About this product

The Cervelo Soloist Ultegra Di2 is a carbon fiber road bike designed to balance aerodynamic efficiency with lightweight responsiveness, drawing its handling geometry from the R5 to deliver race-bike precision suited to both hard training rides and competitive efforts. The tapered Soloist carbon frame pairs with a Cervelo SP27 carbon seatpost and a one-piece carbon cockpit, with fully internal cable routing keeping the build clean and aerodynamically tidy. Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8170 shifters drive R8150 front and rear derailleurs across a 12-speed Ultegra R8100 cassette (11 to 34t) with 52/36t chainrings, while hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano CL800 centerlock rotors provide consistent stopping power. The crankset integrates a 4iiii Precision Pro GEN3+ dual-sided power meter. Rolling stock consists of Reserve 42TA front and Reserve 49TA rear carbon wheels shod with 700 x 29c Vittoria Corsa N.EXT TLR G2.0 tubeless-ready tires, riding on DT Swiss 350 hubs with 12 x 100mm and 12 x 142mm thru-axles. The FSA T47 BBright bottom bracket and FSA tapered headset round out the build. A lifetime manufacturer warranty is included; pedals are not.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Cervelo Soloist Ultegra Di2 for its balanced, versatile ride character, sitting between the brand's S5 aero bike and R5 climber. The frameset earns strong marks for absorbing road buzz without feeling harsh, delivering nimble handling and an exhilarating feel when pushed hard. The semi-integrated, two-piece cockpit is widely appreciated for making fit adjustments, maintenance, and travel packing straightforward. The most common criticisms center on value for money at the high asking price: reviewers repeatedly flag the alloy handlebar as underwhelming compared to rivals, and stock tires are considered a cost-cutting measure. Weight is also noted as a concern, with real-world figures running heavier than some all-rounder competitors.
