About this product
The Co-op Base Camp 4 is a freestanding, three-season tent built for four sleepers across 59 square feet of floor space, with a peak height of 63 inches that allows comfortable movement inside. The floor measures 100 by 86 inches and is made from 150-denier polyester, while the rainfly uses 75-denier polyester taffeta with a polyurethane coating and a PFAS-free DWR treatment for rain protection. Five aluminum poles (11 mm main poles, 10.3 mm door and vestibule poles) connect via color-coded, dead-end pole sleeves to simplify setup. Two wide-mouth doors give all occupants equal access without climbing over tent mates, and the inner doors tuck into roof pockets when open. A large pole-supported vestibule (23 square feet) and a smaller stake-out vestibule (15.5 square feet) provide covered front and rear storage, with stake-out loops sized to fit skis or splitboards. Four roof vents plus a low side vent help manage condensation. Packed weight is 7,711 grams (roughly 17 lbs 5.6 oz) at a packed size of 9.8 by 20.3 inches. The brand carries Climate Label Certification. A footprint and vehicle connector are sold separately.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Co-op Base Camp 4 for its exceptional storm protection, crediting the full-coverage 360-degree rainfly and robust dome structure with handling heavy rain and strong winds with confidence. The generous storage (18 interior pockets) and large vestibules earn frequent compliments, as does the tent's versatile ventilation, which keeps it comfortable in both warm and cold conditions. Long-term owners note it holds up well over multiple seasons. The most common criticisms are the significant weight (nearly 17 pounds), the cumbersome pole-sleeve setup that most reviewers prefer to clip systems, and a 60-inch peak height that forces taller campers to hunch. A handful of users also flag zipper durability as a concern over extended use. Most agree it is best suited for car camping with two or three people rather than a true group of four.
