About this product
The Fox Racing Proframe RS is a full-face mountain bike helmet built around Fox's Race Spec construction, which prioritizes reduced weight and high airflow to satisfy the demands of competitive riders. Its standout safety feature is the MIPS Integra Split system, a first-to-market collaboration with MIPS that pairs an EPP liner with an EPS layer to help reduce rotational forces transmitted to the brain during a crash. The helmet meets multiple safety certifications, including ASTM F1952 downhill, ASTM F2032, EN 1078, AS/NZS 2063, and CPSC 1203. Fit is dialed in through a BOA Fit System offering micro-adjustable precision, combined with a four-step adjustable cradle to suit a range of head shapes and sizes. The three-position adjustable visor is goggle compatible and includes a removable under-visor GoPro mount for on-trail recording. Closure is handled by a FIDLOCK magnetic buckle for fast, one-handed operation. Interior comfort comes from an Ionic+ antimicrobial liner and cheek pads, plus a removable and washable XT2 odor-fighting liner.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Fox Proframe RS for its exceptional ventilation, calling it among the airiest full-face enduro helmets available, and highlight the MIPS Integra Split dual-density foam construction as a meaningful upgrade in protection. The BOA fit system and Fidlock magnetic chin buckle earn widespread approval for convenience and security, and the adjustable visor is welcomed as a fix over the original Proframe's fixed design. The most common criticisms center on the high price point and fit inconsistency: some testers report pressure points and headaches on longer rides, particularly at the rear of the head. At around 820g, it also sits toward the heavier end of the lightweight full-face category, and the exposed BOA dial is noted as a drop vulnerability.
