About this product

The Gregory Deva 80 Pro is an 80-liter women's backpack built for extended backcountry travel, available in Graphene Grey (style 6038-655) and offered in three sizes to accommodate different torso lengths and body shapes. Its FreeFloat A3 suspension system uses dynamic flex panels and auto-rotating dual-density shoulder straps that follow the natural movement of the body, while the FreeFloat rotating hipbelt adjusts 3.5 inches on each side for a dialed-in custom fit. Torso length is adjustable by over 3 inches, and a ComfortGrip lumbar pad keeps the pack positioned high on the hips without over-tightening. The AirCushion mesh backpanel promotes genuine breathability and moisture-wicking performance, and a perimeter alloy frame with a fiberglass anti-barreling cross-stay handles stable load management. Storage is extensive, covering a front U-Zip main compartment access, dual front zippered pockets, oversized hipbelt pockets, a floating top pocket, a fabric bottle holster, a large side stuff pocket, and a zippered sleeping bag compartment with a removable divider. An internal hydration sleeve with SpeedClip hanger is included, though the reservoir is sold separately.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Gregory Deva 80 Pro for outstanding load-carrying comfort, pointing to the FreeFloat A3 suspension system as a standout feature. The independently pivoting shoulder straps and hip belt keep the pack stable on uneven terrain, while the plush, dynamic hip belt effectively transfers weight off the shoulders. The AirCushion back panel earns repeated praise for breathability and moisture management on multi-day trips. Users also appreciate the multiple interior access points, oversized hip belt pockets, and the one-handed SideWinder bottle holster. The most common complaint is the pack's own weight, with several reviewers noting it could be trimmed down. The large capacity also tempts overpacking, making the loaded pack very heavy. A few buyers were disappointed to find the rain cover and hydration reservoir sold separately.
