The La Sportiva Mythos ECO is a women's climbing shoe rooted in a design first introduced in 1991, updated with environmentally responsible materials throughout. The upper is crafted from ECO Idro-Perwanger biodegradable leather, tanned without heavy metals using a metal-free eco-tanning process, and left unlined so it conforms naturally to a wide range of foot shapes. The 4mm outsole uses La Sportiva ECO rubber recycled from production waste at the La Sportiva factory, paired with a 1.1mm full-length LaspoFlex midsole. Laces are 100% recycled polyester, and overall roughly 95% of components come from recycled or environmentally responsible sources. The patented Mythos lacing system links the mid-foot and toe box into the heel cup for fine-tuned, all-day comfort. Rated 3 out of 5 for both sensitivity and rigidity, the shoe suits crack climbing, face climbing, and big walls. Built on the WRN 25 last with medium-low asymmetry, each shoe weighs 6.6 oz (186 g). Sizing typically runs 0 to 4 full EU sizes down from standard street shoe size.
