The Mammut Adam Ondra 8.7 We Care Dry Rope is a 60-meter, 8.7mm diameter climbing rope developed in collaboration with professional climber Adam Ondra for hard redpoints and demanding ascents. Its triple certification covers single, twin, and double rope configurations, giving it genuine versatility across sport climbing and alpine objectives. The impact force ratings are 7.8kN in single mode (55kg), 5.8kN in half mode, and 9.3kN in twin mode, while UIAA fall counts reach 16 at 55kg and 5 at 80kg in single configuration. Static elongation sits at a controlled 6.5 percent. A PFC-free We Care Dry finish repels water and dirt without relying on fluorinated chemicals, and low UIAA water absorption adds a further margin of safety on wet routes. The sheath incorporates recycled yarn to reduce environmental impact, and its smooth construction supports clean clipping and controlled rope management. Each rope ships tangle-free and features a unique color pattern for easy identification.
