About this product
The Mountain Hardwear Lamina Long sleeping bag is a women's standard mummy-cut bag designed for camping, rated to a temperature comfort of 30 F (-1 C) with EN limit and extreme ratings of 20 F (-7 C) and -11 F (-24 C) respectively. Its proprietary welded Lamina construction eliminates cold spots and enhances loft, while zoned TemperLite synthetic insulation (793 g fill weight) concentrates warmth where it matters most. The 20D polyester ripstop shell carries a DWR finish and is PFAS-free, paired with a 20D plain weave nylon lining for a total weight of approximately 2 lb 8.3 oz (1142 g). A shaped draft collar and tailored hood seal in warmth, and a two-way anti-snag zipper with a glow-in-the-dark pull allows easy entry and ventilation. Left-hand and right-hand zipper options support zip-together compatibility. The bag fits users up to 72 inches (183 cm) tall, compresses to 15.5 by 7.5 inches (553 cubic inches / 9.1 liters), and ships with both a compression sack and a mesh storage sack.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Mountain Hardwear Lamina 30F Women's Long as a reliable, well-built synthetic bag that delivers accurate temperature performance for spring, fall, and shoulder-season camping. Its standout quality is wet-weather resilience, as the synthetic insulation retains significant warmth even when damp, a clear advantage over down alternatives. Build quality, durable zippers, and a no-frills design also earn consistent approval. The most common complaints focus on bulk and weight: the bag runs heavier and packs larger than comparable down bags, which can be a drawback for weight-conscious backpackers. Some users note the standard mummy cut may feel snug for side or stomach sleepers. Overall, it is widely regarded as a strong value for the price.
