The Petzl Freino Z is an automatic twist-lock carabiner fitted with a friction spur, purpose-built for use with Petzl STOP and SIMPLE caving descenders. It also simplifies the creation of a tie-off when needed. A practical rotational design reduces the risk of accidentally dropping the descender during transfers between a gear loop and a semi-circular carabiner.
