Its body-mapped baffle system combines offset boxwall construction around the core, which allows the down to fully loft and minimizes cold spots, with lightweight stitch-through baffles on the arms and hood for better mobility. An internal TILT heat-reflective scrim, positioned close to the body, reduces radiant heat loss and improves thermal efficiency during cold belays or high-altitude stops. The ultralight 10D outer shell is made from 100% recycled Pertex Quantum fabric with built-in ripstop, offering a solid balance of weather protection (rated 4 out of 5) and durability (also 4 out of 5) while remaining soft and packable. A helmet-compatible down-filled hood, two-way front zip for harness compatibility, precurved articulated sleeves, and YKK concealed hand and chest pockets round out the alpine-focused feature set. All hardware is chosen for low bulk, and the jacket packs into its own included stuff sack. Available in Light Zinc, size XS (SKU QDB-52); sizing runs slightly large according to customer feedback.
