About this product
The Santa Cruz Nomad X0/90 Carbon Wheel Exclusive is a purpose-built enduro mountain bike centered on a Carbon CC frame with 170mm of VPP rear travel and a mixed-wheel configuration: a 29-inch front paired with a 27.5-inch rear. Suspension duties are handled by a Fox 38 Float Factory fork (170mm, 44mm rake, Grip X2 damping, Kashima stanchions) and a Fox Float X2 Factory rear shock with independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustment. The Reserve 30 SL carbon wheelset runs on DT Swiss 350 90T hubs with a 15x110mm front and 12x148mm Boost rear axle, shod with Continental Kryptotal tubeless tires (29x2.4 SuperSoft front, 27.5x2.4 rear). Drivetrain is a full SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission 12-speed setup with a 10-52t cassette and 32t chainring. SRAM Maven Silver hydraulic disc brakes with 200mm rotors provide stopping power front and rear. A OneUp Components V3 dropper post offers 180mm of travel, while an 800mm OneUp carbon handlebar with 35mm rise and 8-degree backsweep rounds out the cockpit. Finished in Gloss Light Teal (SKU SNZK1RK).

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Santa Cruz Nomad X0/90 Carbon Wheel build for its exceptional descending capability, with the well-tuned VPP suspension handling big hits confidently and harsh bottom-outs being rare. The mullet wheel setup (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear) earns widespread approval for delivering a balanced, centered riding position and improved versatility over the previous all-27.5 configuration. The Glovebox in-frame storage, top-tier CC carbon construction, and a lifetime frame warranty are frequently highlighted as standout practical features. The most common criticisms center on the steep price point, with some reviewers questioning the value premium over competitors, and the bike's weight, which can be a drawback for lighter riders on climbs. Aggressive stock tires also add noticeable rolling resistance when pedaling uphill.
