The Santa Cruz Bicycles Vala AL Eagle 70 E-Bike is an enduro-oriented electric mountain bike built around an aluminum MX frame with 150mm of rear travel and a 160mm RockShox Zeb Base fork, giving it genuine big-hit capability on technical terrain. Power comes from a Bosch Performance Line CX motor rated at 750W and 100Nm of torque, paired with a 600Wh Bosch PowerTube battery and a top-assisted speed of 20mph. The mullet wheel configuration runs a 29x2.5in Maxxis Assegai (3C MaxxGrip, EXO+) up front and a 27.5x2.5in Maxxis Minion DHRII (DoubleDown) at the rear, mounted to Reserve 30|HD AL wheels with 15x110mm and 12x148mm axles. Shifting is handled by a SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type 12-speed drivetrain with a 10-52t cassette, while SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes with 220mm and 200mm SRAM Centerline rotors provide confident stopping power. The SDG Tellis 31.6mm dropper seatpost and E13 Helix eSpec crankset round out a build backed by a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and handlebar. Pedals are not included.
