About this product

The Scarpa Quantic is a women's rock climbing shoe built around a multi-panel microsuede upper with a twin strap closure for a secure, adjustable fit. The FKS last shapes the shoe to a glove-like feel, aided by a mesh instep panel that adds breathability and conforms closely to the foot. Structural support comes from the HT-Tension system, which runs the full length of the shoe to maintain consistent tension and shape during climbs. The outsole is a full-length Vibram XS Edge at 3.5mm thickness, delivering reliable friction and edge stability on technical terrain. A Flexan insole sits underfoot, while the PAF heel construction distributes force across the heel cup to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon. Each shoe weighs 180 g (6.35 oz) in size 40.5, keeping the overall package light for performance-oriented climbing. The shoes are manufactured in Romania.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Scarpa Quantic Women's for its impressive versatility, calling it a capable all-rounder for gym, sport climbing, bouldering, and multipitch. Edging performance is a standout strength, with the Vibram XS Edge outsole and supportive midsole earning repeated compliments for confidence on small holds and vertical terrain. The breathable microsuede and mesh upper is widely appreciated, especially for warm-weather or sweaty-feet climbers. The medium-width last suits a broad range of foot shapes, and comfort out of the box is frequently highlighted. The most common criticisms are a noticeable break-in period due to initial stiffness, thick straps that some find clunky, and a fit that feels narrower and less aggressive than typical Scarpa shoes, making it less ideal for steep, powerful climbing.
