About this product

The Scott Addict RC 20 Ultegra Di2 is a lightweight road bike built around Scott's HMX carbon frame, which uses a PP mandrel manufacturing process to reduce the frame-kit weight by 300 grams compared to the previous generation. The fork is also HMX carbon in a flatmount disc configuration, and the Acros AIF-1317 headset ties the front end together. Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting handles gear changes via the ST-R8170 shifters, RD-R8150 rear derailleur, and FD-R8150 front derailleur, paired with an FC-R8100 crankset running 52/36t chainrings and an 11 to 34t cassette range. Braking comes from Shimano BR-R8170 hydraulic disc calipers with RT-CL800 rotors (160mm front, 140mm rear). The Syncros Capital 1.0 40 carbon wheelset uses a 24-spoke lacing pattern front and rear, mounted with Schwalbe One TLE Race-Guard tubeless-compatible tires in 700x30C. Cockpit components include a Syncros carbon handlebar and aluminum stem. The bike is available in Reseda Green and does not include pedals.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Scott Addict RC 20 Ultegra Di2 for its exceptional ride quality, describing it as light, stiff, and surprisingly compliant, with agile and precise handling that excels on descents and at high speeds. The Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset earns consistent acclaim for flawless, smooth shifting, and the hydraulic disc brakes are noted for strong stopping power and good modulation. Comfort levels are considered high for a race-geometry bike. The most common criticisms center on the press-fit BB86 bottom bracket (seen as a step behind competitors using threaded standards), the fully internal cable routing making home maintenance more difficult, and the proprietary Syncros cockpit requiring an additional purchase for a compatible computer mount. Some reviewers also note the weight of around 7.3kg is competitive but not class-leading.
