About this product

The Scott Addict RC Pro is a high-performance road bike built around an HMX carbon frame and matching Addict RC HMX Flatmount Disc fork, featuring a 27.2mm eccentric carbon steerer and race geometry suited to competitive road cycling. Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 handles all shifting duties through a fully electronic 24-speed system, pairing ST-R9270 shifters with RD-R9250 and FD-R9250 derailleurs, a 52/36t crankset, and an 11-34 Dura-Ace CS-R9200-12 cassette for broad gearing range. Stopping power comes from Shimano BR-R9270 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors, and both axles are 12mm thru-axle. The Zipp 303 SW tubeless-ready carbon wheelset rolls on Schwalbe PRO ONE Microskin TL-Easy tires in 700 x 30c. A full Syncros carbon cockpit integrates the IC-R100-SL bar and stem combo with the SP-R100-SL seatpost, and internal cable routing keeps the lines clean. The bike ships in Cumulus White/Carbon Black and does not include pedals.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Scott Addict RC Pro for its exceptional lightness and climbing ability, noting it feels noticeably nimble and responsive under acceleration and on steep gradients. The ride quality earns particular admiration, with multiple sources highlighting a rare combination of race-level stiffness and surprising vibration damping comfort. The Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, carbon Syncros wheels, and wide tire clearance are seen as strong value for the price point. The most common criticisms center on the proprietary integrated cockpit, which limits fit flexibility and, in some configurations, places wrists at awkward angles on the tops. Reviewers also flag the firm stock saddle and note that the aggressive geometry, while rewarding for strong riders, may feel too racy for casual use.
