About this product
The North Face Summit Series FutureFleece LT Half-Zip Pullover is a slim-fit midlayer built for layering between a base layer and an outer insulation piece during high-output mountain activities. Its core fabric, Futurefleece LT, uses a lower-pile full-loop construction with octa-yarns to deliver a strong warmth-to-weight ratio at a lightweight 100g/m² weight. The blend of 63% polyester and 37% recycled polyester keeps the environmental footprint in check without sacrificing performance. A reverse-coil, #3 center front half-zip allows quick ventilation adjustments, while the seam-free shoulder construction reduces bulk and pressure points under a pack. Underarm gussets support a full range of motion, and flat-locked stitching in key zones ensures next-to-skin comfort throughout. Flat-sewn elastic cuffs with integrated thumb loops seal out cold air at the wrists, and a clean front hem with flat-sewn elastic at the back keeps the fit tidy under additional layers. The center back length measures 27.25 inches, and fit is reported as true to size. Available in Dusk Blue.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the FUTUREFLEECE LT Half-Zip for its impressive warmth-to-weight ratio, noting that the material is "deceivingly thin" but performs on par with much heavier fleeces. Its breathability and quick-drying properties make it a favorite for high-output activities like skiing, ski touring, and climbing, where it excels as a mid-layer over a base layer or under a shell. The slim fit, seamless shoulders, and soft next-to-skin feel earn frequent compliments. The most common complaints center on fit challenges, as the slim cut does not suit all body types, and some users report that the thumb holes twist the sleeves awkwardly. A few reviewers also note that the soft fabric can snag easily when worn under a shell during bushwhacking, and the chest seam can feel noticeable against the skin.
