About this product

The 2025 Yeti SB140 C2 Eagle 90 is a trail-focused mountain bike built around Yeti's Switch Infinity rear suspension, delivering 140mm of travel through a C/Series carbon fiber frame whose layup is tuned per size for consistent stiffness across the range. A Fox Performance Float X rear shock pairs with a Fox Performance 36 fork offering 160mm of front travel, while a 65-degree head tube angle keeps the front wheel planted on steep descents. The patented wishbone shock extender pushes the shock forward in the frame, freeing up downtube clearance and simplifying future service. Drivetrain duties fall to a SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission groupset with a 30T crankset, 10-52T cassette, and direct-mount rear derailleur. Braking comes from SRAM Maven Base hydraulic disc brakes with 200mm front and 180mm rear Centerline rotors. Maxxis Minion DHF (2.5in) and DHR II (2.4in) tires roll on DT Swiss M1900 wheels, with 2.6in of frame clearance available. The build weighs 32.05lb and is finished in Emerald.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the 2025 Yeti SB140 C2 for its exceptional cornering ability, confident descending, and surprisingly efficient climbing, with the Switch Infinity suspension drawing particular acclaim for keeping the rear wheel planted and active through corners. The progressive geometry, including a slack head angle and short chainstays, is widely noted as a strong balance between stability and agility. The suspension setup has a learning curve, and some reviewers note the bike rewards riders who dial in the correct (firmer) settings. The most common criticism is the premium price point, with the C2 build starting around $6,000. Some forum users also raise concerns about Yeti's warranty support and frame durability over the long term.
