About this product
The Atlas Access Elektra Snowshoes are designed for women pursuing general snowshoeing across varied terrain, available in 23-inch and 27-inch sizes to accommodate a maximum recommended load of 80 to 150 lb and 120 to 200 lb respectively. The aluminum frames feature a distinctive V-shape with a tapered profile and turned-up tails, a geometry that promotes straight tracking in deep snow while reducing the amount of snow lifted with each step to conserve energy. Nytex decking adds durability by resisting abrasion and shedding snow even in cold conditions. A spring-loaded suspension system keeps the snowshoes close underfoot, allowing natural flex, impact absorption, and deep crampon penetration. Traction comes from Twin-Trac Toe crampons paired with a rear heel cleat for grip in multiple directions. The Wrapp Trail bindings use cinch straps for a comfortable, straightforward fit, and integrated heel lifts improve comfort and efficiency on uphill climbs. Colorway is Cyan, style ID 6022-201, made in China.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Atlas Access Elektra for its lightweight aluminum frame, comfortable women-specific fit, and easy-to-use Wrapp Trail bindings that accommodate most boots without pressure points. The semi-aggressive steel toe crampons earn consistent credit for solid traction on packed and icy snow, and the heel lift bar is widely appreciated for reducing calf fatigue on steep climbs. The narrow, anatomically shaped frame suits a woman's natural gait well on groomed and moderate backcountry terrain. The most common criticism is that the narrow frame limits flotation in deep powder compared to wider alternatives. Some users also question whether the women-specific framing offers a meaningful real-world advantage over unisex designs.
