About this product
The Atomic Bent Chetler 120 Skis 2026 are a freestyle-oriented freeride ski designed in collaboration with pro skier Chris Benchetler. Available in a 176 cm length, they feature a 30/40/30 rocker profile (30% tip rocker, 40% camber, 30% tail rocker) that balances float in powder with edge hold on firmer snow. The full twin-tip construction uses the HRZN 3D Bent Tip and Tail shape, with a full wrap tip and tail profile that encourages playful skiing across freestyle terrain. The poplar wood core keeps weight manageable while preserving shock absorption and stability, and the Dura Cap sidewall combines power transmission with cap-style durability at the edges. Atomic's high-density sintered base accepts wax readily and performs across varied snow conditions, while the steel edges are five times more wear-resistant than standard steel. Edge angles are set at 1.0 degrees base and 87 degrees side. The glossy topsheet finish and two-year warranty round out the package. Sold without bindings at CAD 594.95.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Atomic Bent Chetler 120 2026 as one of the best freestyle powder skis available, highlighting its exceptional float, surfy playfulness, and impressive agility for a ski of its size. The updated HRZN 3D tip and tail, lightweight poplar wood core, and slightly stiffer construction earn widespread acclaim for delivering a smooth, stable, and creative ride in deep, untracked snow. The most common criticism is that the ski is highly specialized: once conditions turn variable or choppy, tips and tails deflect noticeably, and on groomers it resists carving, preferring to slarve and skid. Reviewers also note the factory mount point runs too far forward, with many recommending moving it back 2 to 3 cm. Best suited to dedicated powder hounds, not everyday resort skiers.
