About this product
The Bataleon Whatever 2026 is a directional twin snowboard built for all-mountain and freestyle riding across a wide range of conditions. Its Medium Camber profile incorporates Bataleon's 3BT (three-dimensional base technology) and SideKick shaping, promoting edge hold, float in powder, and forgiving transitions between terrain types. The Light Core combines 50% paulownia and 50% poplar for a lightweight yet responsive feel, reinforced by Dual Super Tubes made from hollow carbon to boost pop and reduce overall weight. Biax fiberglass laminate paired with carbon stringers keeps the ride playful without sacrificing drive. Flex is rated a medium 5 out of 10 on Bataleon's scale, balancing maneuverability with control. Backseat inserts allow riders to shift to a setback stance on powder days. The Hyper Glide S sintruded base and urethane Flex Wall sidewalls round out the construction. Available in nine sizes from 138cm to 162cm wide, with waist widths ranging from 240mm to 274mm, the Whatever suits riders weighing approximately 90 to 227 pounds depending on size. Mounting follows a standard 2x4 pattern.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Bataleon Whatever 2026 for its unique combination of a directional outline with a true twin contact surface, making it a genuinely versatile all-mountain freestyle board. Bataleon's 3BT shaping earns repeated compliments for reducing edge catch and making the ride forgiving and confidence-inspiring, especially for intermediates progressing to higher speeds. Users highlight its playfulness for park features, side hits, and powder, while still finding it capable enough for carving. The most common criticism is that the medium-soft flex holds back aggressive or advanced riders on steep or icy terrain, where edge contact and response feel limited. A smaller number of users raise concerns about long-term build quality, including topsheet durability and, in rare cases, structural integrity.
