About this product
The Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL2 Bikepack Solution Dye Footprint is a purpose-built ground cloth designed to protect the floor of compatible Fly Creek HV UL tents from abrasion and moisture. Constructed from nylon ripstop fabric with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating, it provides a reliable barrier between the tent floor and rough terrain. At just 7 oz (198 g) with a packed size of 1 x 6 x 9 in (3 x 15 x 23 cm), it adds minimal weight and bulk to a bikepacking or backpacking kit. The footprint integrates Tiplok tent buckles, which allow for a Fast Fly setup using only the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes, leaving the tent body at home for a lighter carry on fair-weather trips. It is compatible with Fly Creek HV UL1 tents equipped with Tiplok buckles. The gray Solution Dye colorway is part of a color option lineup for this model.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the footprint for its low weight (around 7 oz) and its ability to unlock the "Fast Fly" setup, letting bikepackers leave the tent body behind for a minimal tarp-style shelter. The vestibule coverage is a recurring highlight, giving users a clean, dry area to change without tracking mud inside. The color-coded webbing and TipLok buckles earn repeated praise for making attachment quick and intuitive, even in low light after a long ride. The most common criticism is that the footprint is sold separately from the tent, which reviewers find frustrating given how strongly they recommend pairing the two. A minority of users note the footprint can feel slightly undersized relative to the tent floor, leaving some tent fabric exposed, and a few flag that the ripstop material can be vulnerable to sharp debris on rough ground.
