About this product
The Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 2 is a three-season, freestanding double-wall tent designed with bikepacking as its primary use case, though it suits adventure moto trips and car camping equally well. Its 12-millimeter DAC aluminum poles come as a 19-inch Shortstik poleset, sized to pack neatly onto handlebars, panniers, or saddlebags, and the stuff sack separates from the pole sack for even more flexible loading. The tent sleeps two across a 34-square-foot floor (90 by 54 inches, with 54 inches of head height), while an oversized front vestibule adds 44 square feet of covered space through two awning-style doors, giving partners room to store gear or simply sit out of the weather. The canopy combines breathable polyester taffeta with mesh panels, and both the fly and floor use polyester taffeta with a 1,500 mm waterproof polyurethane coating; all seams are taped with waterproof PU tape. Fly vents and multiple door options promote airflow to limit condensation. Interior storage includes two mesh ceiling pockets and four corner stash pockets. Trail weight is 11 lbs 1 oz, packed weight is 12 lbs 4 oz, and the packed size measures 20.5 by 11.5 by 8 inches. Eleven Big Agnes Dirt Dagger UL stakes are included; a footprint is sold separately.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 2 for its massive front vestibule, which functions as a covered garage for bikes or gear and doubles as a standing-height hangout space in wet weather. The tent is widely regarded as purpose-built for motorcycle and bicycle touring, with a comfortable two-person sleeping area, intuitive color-coded pole setup, and strong long-term durability. Reddit users echo this enthusiasm, highlighting wind resistance and overall build quality. The most common complaints center on weight (roughly 11 pounds), which makes it impractical for traditional backpacking, and some reviewers note that gaps in the bug netting can let insects inside. A few users also question its three-season rating in strong winds, and the packed size is notably large.
