Constructed from nylon ripstop with a 1200mm silicone-treated waterproof polyurethane coating, it provides a durable barrier between the tent floor and abrasive or wet ground surfaces, helping to extend the life of your shelter over time. At just 4 oz (113 g) and packing down to a compact 7 x 4.5 x 1 in (18 x 11 x 3 cm), it adds minimal weight and bulk to a backpacking kit. The footprint also supports a Fast Fly configuration, allowing you to set up a stripped-down shelter using only the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes, leaving the tent body at home for a lighter carry on suitable conditions.
