About this product
The Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 2 is a three-season, freestanding double-wall tent designed with bikepacking, adventure moto travel, and car camping in mind. Its standout feature is an oversized front vestibule measuring 44 square feet (4.09 square meters), with two awning-style doors that create generous covered space for gear storage or shared use. The inner tent offers 34 square feet (3.2 square meters) of sleeping area, a 54-inch head height, and two entries per sleeping area, one leading into the vestibule and one to the exterior. The fly and floor are constructed from polyester taffeta with a 1,500mm waterproof polyurethane coating, and all seams are taped for full weather protection. The 19-inch Shortstik poleset (12mm diameter DAC lightweight aluminum) is sized to fit handlebars, panniers, and saddlebags. Trail weight is 11 lbs 1 oz (5.02 kg), packed weight is 12 lbs 4 oz (5.56 kg), and the packed size is 8 by 11.5 by 20.5 inches. Interior organization includes six mesh pockets, two ceiling pockets, and four corner storage pockets. The included compression stuff sack features a daisy-chain webbing system and separates from the pole sack for easier transport.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 2 for its exceptionally large front vestibule, which provides covered storage for bikes, gear, and wet equipment, and is roomy enough to stand in comfortably. The generous headroom, dual doors, dual vestibules, mesh interior for ventilation, and quick color-coded setup are frequently highlighted as standout features. Long-term owners report strong durability, and Big Agnes customer support earns positive mentions. The most common complaint is weight, as the tent runs noticeably heavier than comparable two-person options, making it a poor fit for backpacking. Some reviewers also question its three-season rating in strong winds, and the price is considered high for what it offers.
