The Black Diamond HiLight 3-Person Tent is built for remote alpine environments where a long approach demands a shelter that balances livability with packability. Its three-person floor plan is genuinely roomy, and a second side-access door improves convenience when multiple occupants are coming and going. Setup is straightforward thanks to a two-and-a-half-pole design that also delivers twice the structural strength and a drip-free awning effect. The standout feature is the patent-pending Flow Manifold, which uses interior heat convection and exterior airflow to pull moisture vapor and stale air out of the tent, keeping the interior fresher on multi-day trips. The shell uses high-tenacity 30D poly fabric that resists stretching when wet and is treated for flame resistance in compliance with CPAI-84 regulations. All seams are fully factory-taped, so no consumer seam sealing is required. Reflective guylines are three times stronger than previous versions, and reinforced internal pole grips add long-term durability. An optional vestibule provides additional gear storage, and a repair tube for tent poles is included.
