The Black Diamond HiLight 3-Person Tent is built for remote alpine environments where a long approach demands a shelter that balances livability with packability. Its three-person floor plan is genuinely roomy, and a second side-access door adds convenience when multiple occupants are coming and going. Setup is straightforward thanks to a two-and-a-half-pole design that delivers twice the structural strength of a single-pole system while forming a drip-free awning at the entry. The proprietary Flow Manifold (patent pending) uses interior heat convection and exterior airflow to pull moisture vapor and stale air out of the tent, keeping the interior fresher in sustained use. The shell is constructed from high-tenacity 30D poly fabric that resists stretching when wet and is treated for flame resistance in compliance with CPAI-84 regulations. All seams are fully factory-taped, so no consumer seam sealing is required. Reflective guylines rated three times stronger than previous versions and reinforced internal pole grips round out the package. A ground cloth is sold separately. Available in Distance Blue.
