The Faction Agent 3 Sam Anthamatten Skis for 2026 are a limited-edition freeride ski produced in only 150 pairs, featuring artwork by Andrew Pollard inspired by a team expedition to Mongolia. Built around a 106mm waist width and available in a 188 cm length, these skis are designed in collaboration with athlete Sam Anthamatten as a capable one-ski quiver for varied mountain terrain. The flat tail with a slight tail rocker delivers speed, edge grip, and control through committed turns while remaining forgiving enough to slarve and perform in fresh snow. An elliptical sidecut, with a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii at the tip and tail, supports a wide range of turn shapes and mounting positions. The wood core is reinforced with 8 to 12 unidirectional carbon strips woven seamlessly into the fiberglass on each side, providing stiffness and stability without significant added weight. Full-strength sidewall construction protects the core along its full length. The overall flex is rated 7 out of 10, placing these firmly in the stiffer, more performance-oriented range.

The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions.

Laminates

Full Carbon Weave: Ski light and stable with 8-12 unidirectional carbon strips on either side of the wood core. These are seamlessly woven into the fiberglass, boosting ski stability without adding bulk.
