About this product
The Salomon Shift Pro 110 W is a women's alpine touring ski boot built for expert skiers who demand performance on both the ascent and descent. Its 100 mm last accommodates feet of average width and volume, and the Custom Shell HD heat molding process reshapes the forefoot to approximately 106 mm for a personalized fit. The shell combines a polyurethane and fiberglass CoreFrame construction with a Sensift insert, while the cuff uses polyolefin with a polyamide spine. A 110 flex rating suits aggressive, high-performance skiing. The My Custom Fit 4D Pro liner includes a walk function, and four micro-adjustable aluminum 3D buckles, including an instep buckle with three position options, allow precise customization. Two hiking hooks on the cuff buckles extend range of motion in hike mode, complemented by the Surelock ski-walk mechanism and a 45 mm 360-degree Velcro power strap. GripWalk ISO 23223 outsoles are removable and interchangeable, integrated tech inserts support touring bindings, and a Contagrip midgrip sole improves traction on rocky or icy terrain.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Salomon Shift Pro 110 W as an exceptional hybrid boot that delivers downhill performance on par with dedicated alpine boots. Expert testers highlight its powerful, quick, and stable ride across all terrain and snow conditions, with perfect scores noted for edge power and steering. The Custom Shell HD heat molding and 100mm last earn consistent approval for accommodating a wide range of foot shapes. The Surelock walk mechanism is appreciated for its ease of use and quick transitions. The most common criticism is that the touring range of motion, while adequate for resort-to-backcountry missions, is more limited than dedicated touring boots. Some slender-legged skiers note the cuff runs on the roomier side of medium width, and the boot is not ideal for dedicated, high-mileage touring days given its weight tradeoffs compared to lighter AT-specific options.
