About this product

The Fischer TRANSALP TOUR is a unisex ski touring boot designed for backcountry travel and alpine touring. Built to balance uphill efficiency with downhill performance, it features a walk mode for unrestricted stride on the ascent and a ski mode that locks the cuff for responsive descents. The boot is constructed with a durable shell suited to variable mountain conditions, and its sole is compatible with touring bindings. The TRANSALP TOUR suits a wide range of skiers looking for a versatile all-mountain touring option that transitions reliably between climbing and skiing. Its unisex fit makes it accessible to a broad range of foot shapes and sizes, and the overall design reflects Fischer's focus on practical performance across mixed terrain.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Fischer Transalp Tour for its impressive balance of uphill and downhill performance, calling it a standout in the touring boot category. The wide 80-degree cuff rotation earns repeated acclaim for making ascents feel effortless, while the Pebax shell and Power Buckle system deliver surprisingly strong downhill power for such a lightweight boot. Expert testers highlight the secure heel hold and anatomy-specific fit as particular strengths. The most common criticism is fit inconsistency, with some users noting the toe box runs narrow and the boot can run short in length, prompting advice to size up. Entry and exit convenience is also flagged as a minor drawback.
