The Nemo Sonic -18C Down Sleeping Bag V2 is a mummy-style, single-person bag built for winter backpacking and expedition camping in serious cold. It is rated to -18C (EN limit temperature of -20C) and packed with 800 fill-power Nikwax Hydrophobic Down, which resists moisture to maintain loft and warmth even in wet conditions. Down fill weight ranges from 700g (Short) to 760g (Long), and packed weight runs from 1.29kg to 1.41kg depending on size, with packed volumes between 7.19L and 8.03L. The shell is 20-denier ripstop nylon and the lining is 30-denier nylon taffeta, both treated with a DWR finish. Horizontal and vertical baffles channel warmth along the body, while stretch stitching at the knees improves thermal efficiency and shape retention. A Toester waterproof breathable footbox, internal draft collar, and draft tube behind the zipper all help seal in heat. Zippered Thermo Gills allow controlled ventilation without admitting cold air. Three length options (Short, Regular, Long) accommodate heights up to 198cm. A compression sack and cotton home storage sack are included, and the bag is covered by a lifetime warranty.
