The Scarpa Generator V is a women's low-top climbing shoe built around the FGLV last with a moderately downturned, moderately asymmetric profile, making it well suited to trad climbing and multi-pitch routes. Its 2mm chrome-free Eco-Suede upper is both durable and supple, backed by recycled microfiber for added comfort, and the shoe is fully PFAS compliant. A Dynamic Flexan midsole delivers the rigidity needed for sustained edging on small footholds, while the Tri-Tension active rand provides consistent underfoot support throughout long days on the wall. The 4mm Vibram XS Edge outsole offers reliable friction and edging precision, and a super-sticky M70 rubber toe rand handles thin crack jamming with confidence. The PAF heel system distributes tension evenly across the back of the shoe for a secure, comfortable fit, and a breathable stretch-mesh tongue with a reinforced lower section contributes to a precise overall feel. Dual Velcro closures allow quick on-and-off convenience. The shoe weighs 270g (9.5oz) per half pair at size 38.
