The Völkl Blaze 114 is a freeride ski built for off-piste and big-mountain terrain, with a 114mm waist width and a notably compact 18-meter turn radius for a 192cm length, delivering a level of maneuverability that is uncommon in this category. The sidecut measures 154-114-136mm tip to tail, and tip-and-tail rocker combined with an open radius at both the shovel and tail keeps the ski lively in variable snow conditions. A 0.3mm titanal sheet is integrated into the 3D Radius Sidecut at the center of the ski, just above the sidewall, providing precision and stability at speed, while the outer tip and tail sections remain titanal-free to preserve agility. The multilayer Green Core uses FSC-certified wood, and the Isocore component replaces conventional PU foam with material derived from recycled PET bottles, complemented by a P-Tex 2100 recycled base. Flex is scaled progressively with ski length so that riders of different sizes experience consistent performance. Pre-cut skins are available, making the Blaze 114 a capable option for freeride touring as well as dedicated downhill use.
