The Völkl Blaze 114 is a freeride ski built for off-piste and big-mountain terrain, with a 114mm waist width and a notably compact 18-meter turn radius for a 192cm ski, delivering agility that is uncommon in this category. Its sidecut dimensions run 154-114-136mm, and tip-and-tail rocker combined with an open radius at both the shovel and tail makes it responsive in variable snow conditions. A 0.3mm titanal sheet is integrated into the 3D Radius Sidecut at the ski's center, just above the sidewall, providing precision and stability at speed, while the outer tip and tail sections remain titanal-free to keep swing weight low. The multilayer wood core uses FSC-certified wood alongside Völkl's Green Core technology, which replaces conventional PU foam with an Isocore made from recycled PET bottles, and the base is P-Tex 2100 produced from recycled material. Flex increases with ski length so that heavier or taller riders get comparable performance to lighter riders on shorter lengths. Pre-cut skins are available, making the Blaze 114 a capable option for freeride touring as well as dedicated downhill use.
