The ALPS Mountaineering Zenith 0 is a mummy-style sleeping bag built for backpacking, rated to 0 degrees Fahrenheit (negative 17 degrees Celsius). It is filled with 600-fill-power hydrophobic down, which resists moisture to help maintain insulating performance in damp conditions. Both the shell and lining are constructed from 20-denier nylon, keeping the overall weight manageable at 3 lbs. 3 oz. in the regular size and 3 lbs. 6 oz. in the long, which extends to 86 inches. A contoured hood and mummy shape work together to retain body heat, while an insulated chest baffle and zipper baffle block cold air from seeping in along the right-side number 8 separating zipper. The included compression stuff sack reduces packed volume so the bag takes up minimal space alongside other backpacking essentials. This is a unisex, single-person bag available in a Red/Gray colorway.
