About this product

The K2 BFC 100 is an alpine ski boot built around a 103 mm last, making it a strong fit for skiers with wider or higher-volume feet. The shell and cuff are constructed from thermoplastic urethane (TPU), with a softer TPU instep zone on the FastFit area to simplify entry and exit. Both the shell and cuff are fully heat moldable, allowing a custom fit across a range of foot shapes. The CushFit Plus Liner is lasted with a blend of open-cell and EVA foam for a balance of cushioning and support. A flex index of 100 suits intermediate to advanced skiers seeking a medium-stiff response. Four aluminum micro-adjustable buckles and a 40 mm Velcro power strap handle closure, while GripWalk ISO 23223 removable and interchangeable rockered outsoles improve grip and comfort during walking, standing, and hiking. The boot does not include BOA or tech fittings and carries a one-year warranty.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the K2 BFC 100 for its exceptional comfort, particularly for skiers with wide feet, high-volume insteps, or large calves. The 103mm last, plush CushFit Plus liner, and fully heat-moldable shell and cuff earn repeated acclaim for delivering a pain-free, customizable fit. The hands-free entry and exit system is widely appreciated, and the BOA closure addition for 2026 is highlighted as a meaningful upgrade, allowing precise micro-adjustments and more even pressure distribution. The walk (Apres) mode also draws consistent praise for off-slope comfort. The most common criticism is that the 100 flex is considered too soft for advanced or aggressive skiers, who are generally steered toward the stiffer BFC 120. Some reviewers also note that the low, soft cuff can make fore-aft balance more demanding, and a small number of users found the BOA dial created localized pressure points.
