About this product
The K2 Mindbender 95 BOA W is a women's alpine touring ski boot built for intermediate to advanced skiers who want capable performance both on the skin track and on the descent. The shell and cuff are constructed from Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU), with a softer TPU instep zone (FastFit) for quick, easy entry and exit. A BOA closure system works alongside two buckles and a 40mm Velcro power strap to deliver a precise, customizable fit. The Luxfit Pro Tour liner is pre-molded and lasted with Ultralon heat-moldable foam, featuring pre-molded ankle pockets and a tour notch at the back of the ankle for improved range of motion while hiking and skinning. The 100mm forefoot width is heat moldable across a 97mm to 100mm multi-last range. GripWalk ISO 23223 rockered outsoles are removable and interchangeable, and tech fittings are included for pin binding compatibility. Flex index is 95, rated stiff, and the boot carries a one-year warranty.

What people are saying
Reviewers and retailers consistently praise the K2 Mindbender 95 BOA W as a strong "one-boot quiver" option for intermediate to advanced women who split time between resort and backcountry. The BOA closure system earns repeated praise for its micro-adjustable, pressure-point-free fit, and the Powerlite Shell is widely noted for delivering surprising power and responsiveness at a low weight. The 50-degree walk mode range of motion and heat-moldable shell and liner are highlighted as standout touring features. The main concern raised in forum discussions is long-term BOA durability under hard use, with some skeptics noting the system is still relatively new to alpine boots and unproven over multiple seasons. Skiers with very wide or high-volume feet may also find the fit limiting despite the MultiFit last.
