About this product
The Kelty Tru.Comfort Doublewide is a two-person rectangular sleeping bag built for car camping, rated to -7 degrees Celsius (20 degrees Fahrenheit) and packed with CloudLoft synthetic insulation for reliable warmth in variable conditions. The shell is 75-denier polyester taffeta, while the lining uses a 68-denier polyester printed taffeta in Pageant Blue/Hiker colorway. At a packed weight of roughly 4,082 grams (9 lbs. 8 oz.), it is designed for comfort over ultralight performance. Shoulder and hip girth both measure approximately 128 inches, and the bag fits sleepers up to 78 inches tall. Temperature management is handled through a Comfort-Tuck Zipper System with left/right zipper options, two foot vents, and a zip-off top layer for warmer nights. Two patented built-in blankets give each occupant independent coverage. The oversized hood accommodates standard home pillows, and the fabric carries a PFC-free durable water repellent treatment. A 65.8-liter stuff sack (15 by 23 inches) is included.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Kelty Tru.Comfort Doublewide for its exceptional roominess (wider than a queen bed), soft Cloudloft insulation, and thoughtful features like the oversized pillow-holding hood, independent foot vents, and per-person built-in blankets for temperature customization. Its competitive price relative to buying two separate bags is a recurring highlight. The most common complaints center on bulk and weight, making it strictly a car-camping or overlanding option. Expert testers note the individual side blankets are too narrow and tend to slip off shoulders overnight. Other criticisms include the U-shaped zipper being tricky in the dark, no pad sleeve to prevent sliding, no interior pockets, and difficulty fitting the bag in a standard home washer.
