About this product

The LINE Bacon 115 is the widest ski in LINE's All-Mountain Freestyle Collection, built for riders who want to blend freestyle riding with deep powder performance. At 188 cm, it carries a 110 mm waist width and an average sidecut radius of 18.4 m, with a full dimensions profile of 148-115-143 mm and a 13-2-13 mm tip-to-tail rocker profile. The Maple Macroblock wood core delivers a lively, playful feel, while the symmetric flex pattern responds equally whether you are riding forward or switch. Construction highlights include the Thick-Cut Sidewall, which extends deeper into the core and adds material over the steel edges to better withstand hard impacts such as rail slides. The Fatty Base and Fatty Edge system uses a 1.7 mm sintered base and 2.5x2.2 mm steel edges, roughly 30 percent thicker than standard, extending both durability and tuning life. Bio-Resin construction reduces the resin carbon footprint by approximately 20 percent per ski. The stance sits 40 mm back from center, favoring a powder-oriented ride. Durability is rated at the top score of 5.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the LINE Bacon 115 for its playful, surfy character in powder and soft snow, calling it an ideal blend of freestyle creativity and all-mountain capability. The full twin-tip shape, symmetrical flex, and centered mount point make buttering, skiing switch, and pivoting through trees feel natural and intuitive. Experts note it is stiffer and more stable than its predecessor, with a wood core and thick-cut sidewalls that handle chop, crud, and bumps better than expected for a ski this wide. The most common criticism is that it is not a true charger: edge hold suffers on hard pack and ice, and at very high speeds in heavy cut-up snow the tips can feel lively. Some reviewers also flag that its weight and width make it a poor fit for dedicated touring or groomer-focused skiers.
