About this product
The LINE Bacon 122 TW is a full twin-tip freestyle powder ski built for riders who want to float through deep snow, butter down the fall line, and land switch off backcountry features. Its 122mm waist width, 5-Cut geometry, and 20-3-20mm rocker profile (tip-waist-tail) combine to deliver reliable lift in powder while keeping the ski maneuverable on hardpack. A symmetric flex pattern and a stance set 29mm back from center make riding forward and switch feel equally natural. Construction highlights include Thick-Cut Sidewalls, which extend deeper into the core and add material over the steel edges (Fatty Edge 2.5x2.2mm) for greater resilience against hard impacts, and Thin Tip technology that creates a glass-on-glass bonding area through the tips and tails to limit delamination. The aspen-paulownia wood core is paired with Bio Resin Tech, which improves cold-temperature bonding and reduces the resin carbon footprint by 20 percent per ski. A 1.7mm sintered Fatty Base rounds out the build. Suited to intermediate through expert skiers focused on freestyle and powder terrain.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the LINE Bacon 122 TW for its exceptional float and playfulness in deep, light powder, calling it "bouncy and playful" with effortless pivots and no tendency to lock into turns. Its full twin-tip design earns strong marks for buttering, switch landings, and a surfy, freestyle feel, and the thick-cut sidewalls are noted for solid durability. The most common criticism is its extreme specialization: the super-soft flex struggles badly in heavy, wet snow and crud, and it is widely described as a quiver-only ski rather than a daily driver. Groomed or firm conditions expose its noodle-like flex, requiring precise centered balance.
